One of my current projects is a website that allows users to make online wills.
It is a site that I am working on with an experienced solicitor and a top programmer.
Making a will is the only way to guarantee that your hard-earned (or otherwise) possessions and wealth are distributed according to your wishes upon your death. The website - makeawillonline.co.uk - will provide a simple route to creating a quality document for a great price.
We chose wills because it is an area that is perfectly suited to online document generation. The large majority of UK wills are very simple and do not include large amounts of money or complex arrangements. A solicitor might charge £200 to make a simple will, which could be just as easily made online.
Of course, more complex arrangements require the input of a solicitor. The guy I am running this with is from this firm, who I'm sure would be happy to point you in the right direction.

Working on this project has been a real eye-opener. A lot of people don't realise that you don't actually need a solicitor present to write a will. Once the project is fully completed I will be sure to add an update here.
